Frigid Friday

Today was a peaceful day with a few events throughout. The temperature is very frigid for this time of year! It was in the 30s! It is also Good Friday and so we went to church for a short service with singing and some Bible reading. 

Mom went to the store and ran a few errands. Sam is going to Luke's house for a sleepover tonight to celebrate Luke's birthday! Sam also played the Nintendo Switch today. Lucy enjoyed a peaceful day, played Sleeping Queens with Kayla, and did Bible study with Mom. Jack has a soccer game this evening. Kayla went to the old Blacksburg track to do a workout with Hannah in these frigid temperatures. Dad led the church service and then went to work. 

Yesterday was April 1, otherwise known as "April Fools Day". Jack started off the day strong by filling Nathan's car with multiple bags of rice. The rice was everywhere, even in the vents! Nathan decided to get revenge on Jack by putting mayonnaise in his toothpaste and he also bought Kayla Ben & Jerry's. That part wasn't a prank. 

Tomorrow, Lucy will have Bible study. There are no soccer games tomorrow.

  Today Mom, Sam, and Lucy came home! They had a wonderful trip at Mimi and Pop's but are glad to be home.  In other news, Kayla went to a JV XC meet but didn't compete because she is varsity. Jack went to a concert that the rest of the family contemplated going to but decide against it. Dad went to work and took Hannah and Kayla to school.  That's about all for today! Perhaps tomorrow will be more eventful!

Thrilling Thursday

  Today half of our crew went to Ambulare! Lucy went to science class, Mom got to hold an adorable baby, and Sam says that there was a dirty prank!  Kayla had a relaxing day at home because she is on spring break. She went on a run, cleaned her room, did homework, talked with friends, and more. She received news that her friend Hannah had a tree fall down on a power line and their van!  Jack was supposed to go to work, but it turned out that he didn't have to. So he slept in, when Kayla got home from her invigorating run in the freezing temperatures, Jack was coming upstairs for breakfast! Around lunch time, he went to Chipotle for Seth's birthday. Dad went to work and came home around 3:30. It's a mystery what he did. We got our Kroger ClickList today and discovered we had been SCAMMED! We ordered one vanilla for the price of $1.29, but Kroger gave us 2 vanilla's for $26! It is an outrage and so Mom will be returning them to the store.  Easter is coming up...

Saturdayyy

  Today the Briz's came over to hang out. They played pickleball, read Curious George, and had Kraft macaroni and cheese.  Sam and Lucy both had soccer games! Thankfully the rain held off until afterwards.  Jack was kind and helped carry a chair. Kayla ran and also went and borrowed a dress from Kenna.  Mom and Dad both went on a run before it got to hot. I must say, these blog posts aren't as eventful as they used to be. We have some exciting events coming up in the next week that will be more interesting!
