Sunny Saturday

 Today was a pretty normal day around the Waters' household. It was sunny with warmer temperatures! Sam spent the night at the Schmidt's for Luke's birthday as the previous blog post stated and he had a wonderful time. He then went to Thunder Valley later in the day, also for Luke's birthday. He came home smelling like a bowling alley. 

Lucy and Mom went to Bible study and then Lucy got a new bathing suit! It has oranges on it. It is very "Lucy". Lucy also went up to the church to assist with yard work because tomorrow we are having the Easter church service outside! 

Jack went to Seth's house to meet Seth's little sister, who will be coming to VT next year. He also went to the Gilbarte's house later in the evening. 

Kayla began some spring cleaning and washed her sheets and started cleaning her and Lucy's room! She even cleaned out her backpack, meet bag, and lacrosse bag! There were lots of turf beads on the floor after that. 

Mom went to Walmart for some last minute shopping before our Easter lunch/dinner tomorrow. Walmart was hectic as usual, and they were wiped out of Easter supplies! So was Target! Corona is doing strange things to stores. Mom also attended Bible Study and got some tulips! 

Dad went up to the church to mow to prepare for church. He also worked on his Easter Sunday sermon! As I am writing this, he is taking his traditional Saturday night bath in the dark like he does every Saturday. 

On a side note, Kayla and Lucy got Chipotle for dinner! It was very good, our family is thoroughly enjoying Chipotle in these first few months of 2021.

  Today Mom, Sam, and Lucy came home! They had a wonderful trip at Mimi and Pop's but are glad to be home.  In other news, Kayla went to a JV XC meet but didn't compete because she is varsity. Jack went to a concert that the rest of the family contemplated going to but decide against it. Dad went to work and took Hannah and Kayla to school.  That's about all for today! Perhaps tomorrow will be more eventful!

Thrilling Thursday

  Today half of our crew went to Ambulare! Lucy went to science class, Mom got to hold an adorable baby, and Sam says that there was a dirty prank!  Kayla had a relaxing day at home because she is on spring break. She went on a run, cleaned her room, did homework, talked with friends, and more. She received news that her friend Hannah had a tree fall down on a power line and their van!  Jack was supposed to go to work, but it turned out that he didn't have to. So he slept in, when Kayla got home from her invigorating run in the freezing temperatures, Jack was coming upstairs for breakfast! Around lunch time, he went to Chipotle for Seth's birthday. Dad went to work and came home around 3:30. It's a mystery what he did. We got our Kroger ClickList today and discovered we had been SCAMMED! We ordered one vanilla for the price of $1.29, but Kroger gave us 2 vanilla's for $26! It is an outrage and so Mom will be returning them to the store.  Easter is coming up...

Saturdayyy

  Today the Briz's came over to hang out. They played pickleball, read Curious George, and had Kraft macaroni and cheese.  Sam and Lucy both had soccer games! Thankfully the rain held off until afterwards.  Jack was kind and helped carry a chair. Kayla ran and also went and borrowed a dress from Kenna.  Mom and Dad both went on a run before it got to hot. I must say, these blog posts aren't as eventful as they used to be. We have some exciting events coming up in the next week that will be more interesting!
